Image policy

How product photos are sourced, reviewed and served on Dolllist.

Rights review

Product imagery is brand promotional material displayed with attribution for identification, comparison and review — copyright remains with the brand/store. A takedown registry purges a brand's imagery on request; see the copyright & takedown channel.

Content review levels

approved_safe_cover — non-explicit, neutral pose, usable on homepages, listings and social previews. approved_detail — review-passed but only shown inside product galleries. Anything explicit, age-ambiguous or with IP/likeness risk is held for human review or rejected.

Serving and privacy

Images are pre-built into fixed sizes (320/640/960/1440 WebP) on our own image host with metadata stripped. We never hotlink vendor or competitor CDNs, and image URLs never track readers.

Corrections and takedowns

Wrong image on a product, or a rights concern? The corrections page takes reports; confirmed issues are removed from pages, sitemaps and the image host, with the CDN purged.
