How Dolllist writes about products — and the lines we don’t cross.
Independent directory
Dolllist lists and compares. We don’t sell, hold inventory, or accept payment for ranking positions. Outbound store links may earn referral commissions, disclosed uniformly for every listed store — that is the only commercial relationship, and it never affects analysis or order.
No invented facts
We publish only what the data supports: real specs, real prices with check dates, real availability states. Missing data is labeled Not verified rather than filled with plausible text. Rankings state their inclusion rules, exclusions and sort fields on the page.
Editorial copy standards
Fit and limitation notes are written per product by our editors, dated and reviewable. We don’t mass-generate descriptions, and product pages stay out of search engines until genuine editorial copy exists.
Adult audience
This site addresses adults only (18+). We never present age-ambiguous, school-uniform or celebrity/character-likeness framing; products that trip those checks are held out of the catalog entirely.
