What Dolllist is

A product database first: filterable specs, transparent data dates, rule-based rankings and side-by-side comparisons. Built for people narrowing down a purchase decision, not for browsing marketing copy.

How it’s built

Pages are statically generated from a versioned catalog snapshot — every page states the snapshot it was built from. The site works without JavaScript for core browsing; filtering and compare are progressive enhancements.

Relationship to the store

Dolllist links to the store listing each product (with referral parameters). Editorial judgments — who a product fits, ranking methods — follow published rules, not commercial priority.

Status

Currently in preview: the catalog ships a verified sample set while image review and editorial copy expand. Pages stay out of search engines until they meet the full quality gate.
